The Least We Should Do

If you are saved do you ever consider the undeserved and unspeakable value of the eternal life God has gifted to you?

2 Corinthians 9:15: Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

Psalms 84:10: For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Luke 23:43: And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Genesis 15:1: After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

Revelation 21:4: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb*s book of life.

When we consider God*s glorious eternity, the least we should do is to be grateful to Him, to love Him, to trust Him, to obey Him, to worship Him and to give Him our measly little lives. It will help us to have the right attitude if we also remember what all of us truly deserve . . . Hell and then eternity in the Lake of Fire.
